Bouquet of Gerbera Daisies

So this is my ideal bouquet...

Bridesmaid dresses

Just some of the dresses that caught my eye while browsing through. Maybe sometime soon we can go to a store to pick out the actual color and fabric for everyone to order.

Bridesmaid Dresses INFO and Bouquets to match

Kathy,

The website for the designer is www.BillLevkoff.com

I want to use the same material as the girls in the grey bridesmaid dresses, because I think it photographs very well.

I think my requirements will be the following:
1. Color will be chocolate brown
2. Material will be the same SHEEN as the one in the pic, but I'm not sure exactly WHICH fabric that was, so maybe you can give me some input...
3. The dresses have to be long length
(At this point, that's all that I'm thinking)

Also, the bouquets will be Gerbera Daisies, something like this:

Website Updated - please look

Anne - Mom and I have updated the wedding website (link below) so it includes a lot more information. The only thing missing are:
- The exact address of the Kibler Farm
- Driving directions (you and Nate can modify since you know the area better)
- Bridal Party information

Let us know what you think! :)

Postage limitations for $0.44 stamps

First-Class letter dimensions:

Rectangular
At least 3-1/2 inches high X 5 inches long X .007 inch thick
No more than 6-1/8 inches high X 11-1/2 inches long X 1/4 inch thick
Maximum weight is 3.5 ounces
Letters that are considered nonmachinable are subject to a surcharge.
Length is the dimension parallel to the address.

Wedding Invitations

Mom and I were thinking that the letters should be the standard size to avoid extra postage, so we could do this concept but maybe opening up to the side.

We would need:
- Envelopes
- Clear labels
- Stamps ($0.44 cost per stamp * 200 invitations = $88)
- Thicker paper to print invitation on
- Colored paper to create pocket: Black, and additional colors
- Colored ribbon
- Scissors, Ruler and double sided tape
- Printed Directions (8 per page and cut into squares)
- Computer and Printer
- OPTIONAL: Return letter and return letter response card

guest list - update from mom

I completed the gusest list with what Anne gave me and it is available to view at anne.nate@gmail.com There is a lot of information lacking and I need Anne's input to continue working on this.

Planning 12-3-09

Kathy

  1. Created initial version of the website:
    http://www.theknot.com/ourwedding/AnneChristineTejano&NathanKibler

Mom

  1. Type of list of guests that Anne gave to Mom
Organize into Name, Email/Phone number, Address, Priority (Low, Medium, and High), Sent save the date (Y/N), Response to wedding (Y/N)
  2. Email Anne the full list guest list

Anne

  1. Give pictures to Mom so she can forward to build the invitations
  2. Review guest list and work with Nate to cut down the number of names if needed
  3. Find and book the efficient for the day
  4. Discuss ceremony itinerary – program creation is dependent on this

  6. Discuss how clean up will happen – who will be helping, how vendors will be paid
  7. Book videographer and discuss when/what he should tape, when he will arrive, how he will get the tape to you afterwards
  8. Make a list of all the family/friends who will be helping out (decorating, parking, moving chairs, preparing food) and decide what they will be doing and when they will be doing it
  9. Talk to Nate about reception dinner to see where it should be
  10. Start making a list of the registry and stores; create a list of the links/items so we can start putting that together
  11. Start a list of wedding songs
  12. Browse attire for the wedding party – bridesmaid dresses, groom suites, groom ties, bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, flower girl dress
  13. Think of who else could take the pictures with Carmen – someone to help her

Centerpiece Ideas

So I've got somewhat of an idea of what I want these centerpieces to look like...

Basically, I'm thinking 3 square shaped vases at different heights, with a different BRIGHT colored Gerber Daisy floating in water (hot pink, orange, yellow, etc). That's basically it. I don't want the centerpieces to be too cluttered. I want CLEAN and PURPOSEFUL, not a lot of junk.

So here are some pics to show you all the "vibe":

First BlogPost!

This is a test :)
