Dress I got for the rehersal dinner?

Its by Jessica McClintock, looks like a former prom dress (I got it on consignment, its what I can afford right now if I want to get a facial and shoes before the wedding! Hehe)

But its a size 9/10 I need someone to alter it. Anyone have any ideas? Or should I return it and get a new one?
